these are the items you need to create a feng shui wealth vase.
one: find a vase you love!
Traditionally, a vase of wealth is usually blue and white, but in Western feng shui, you will simply choose a vase that you love!
Choose a vase that is narrower at the top.
Your vase also needs a lid so you can close the ingredients after you create it.
Otherwise, a vase can be made of pretty much anything you want, so choose one that makes you happy and that feels bountiful! you can even use a glass jar if you want!
two: dirt!
Traditionally, the soil should come from a wealthy household and be given to you, but for our purposes, use some soil from your home, a river bank you like, or even your favorite plant.
just make sure the earth has good energy and it will represent abundance and stability in your finances.

three: five types of grains, seeds or beans.
these represent a lot of foods, so choose the foods you like!
if you don’t have a preference, you can use five types of rice, five types of beans, or five types of seeds, any will do!
four: symbols of money.
coins in your country’s currency or feng shui coins work well here.
small money crystals work well too!
Also gather things that represent wealth and abundance to you.
You can write your intentions as specific as possible for your wealth and success, and also collect or print images that represent the things you would like to attract into your life.
They can be images of the house you would like, the car you would like, or your family, anything that represents wealth and success in abundance.
they can even be images of art or nature that make you feel abundant and free!
choose a few items to add here: a few pieces of money, some crystals, some magazine clippings or printouts, and/or a sentence or two detailing what your intentions are.
five: five pieces of fabric (or felt) and five different colors of ribbon or thread in the following colors: blue, green, red, yellow, and white.
These represent the five elements that fuel the creative cycle in feng shui. you can also choose a piece of fabric that contains all the necessary colors if it’s a piece of fabric you love!
how to put together your feng shui wealth vase!
Putting together your wealth vase is simple, but it’s an intentional process!
one: set your intention.
what do you want to happen after you assemble your wealth vase? What do you most want to attract?
Please note that your wealth vase is for your overall abundance intention. tradition even says that once you’ve created your vase, you shouldn’t open it again!
in western feng shui, however, you can refresh your wealth vase every year or so, such as new year’s day or chinese new year, but keep in mind when setting your intention that it be for a long time . long-term wealth goals and intentions!

the feng shui wealth vase is for accumulating wealth in your life and making it grow, so setting the intention to fill your bank accounts and create a nest egg is a great place to start if you really can’t think of a long term. money goal that excites you.
two: layer the ingredients as follows –
the earth goes to the bottom.
This represents your wealth growing and being cultivated by the stability and abundance of the earth! this is a solid foundation to grow your money and stability in your life.
The next layer is the seed/food layer.
Food represents an abundance of energy to grow your dreams. Place the five types of rice, seeds, beans, or whatever you choose on top of the layer of soil. you want to fill your vase to the brim, so layer the grain or beans fairly fully in the vase/vase, but leave room for the rest of your wealth items!
the layer of richness.
This is where you put the money, pictures, and words you’ve gathered that represent your growing wealth and abundance. As you lay down this layer, really feel the sense of having the abundance and stability you want for yourself and your home.
Once the vase is full, it’s time to seal it!
place the lid, then: place the five fabric pieces on top.
Layer them in this order: blue, green, red, yellow, and white, so that the white is on top.
braid the five pieces of ribbon, then tie the ribbons onto the fabric!
This represents sealing the energy of wealth and abundance in the container and then creating and building it into your life!
your feng shui wealth vase is complete!
Place it in a closet, in your bedroom closet, or behind artwork or other decor, but choose a room that’s special to you.
when should you upgrade your wealth jar?
you can update it annually, such as new year’s day or chinese new year. or update it whenever your wealth intentions change, such as when your vision has expanded and you’re ready to ask for more abundance than you thought possible.
You can also leave it alone and never update it, just take it out and clean it from time to time! It completely depends on you and how you feel. trust your intuition!
