Feng Shui Fame & Reputation -RespectGet Your Full Credit and Recognition

The fame and reputation side of feng shui is not just for Hollywood movie stars and athletes. we all need fame and reputation in some way.

You must be recognized (fame) for your work and get full credit (reputation) for the work you did.

This corner is the farthest center corner of your space. Whether it’s for work, school, a relationship, or with your family, this is the area to improve to get the full recognition you deserve and want.

this area also works hand in hand with the career/business/lifepath section of your space (the center front part of the space closest to the front door), which is directly across from the fame & ; reputation side of your space.

make sure to improve both sides simultaneously to get the results you want, especially regarding your fame and reputation at work.

Feng Shui Fame & Reputation -AwardsNumber One!

Who strives to be second best? this is not the area to pair things like you would in your relationship/love/marriage corner.

Rather, this area has to do with individual achievement. don’t be ashamed to put up that huge trophy, even if it was out of high school. this is the area where you’ll also want to display your titles, awards, letters of recognition, etc.

but don’t be greedy. You can also allow all members of your family to share this space to display your achievements.

Burn it!

the element of fame & reputation in feng shui is fire. if you are going to have a fireplace or a chandelier (several candles in one place), this is the best place to do it.

Let the fire burn for your fame and reputation.

also, anything that represents fire is good here. For example, red is the best color to use as it represents fire in feng shui.

Also, pointed objects such as cacti, rose bushes (because of the thorns), stars and triangles are wonderful here as they also represent fire.

You’ll also want a few things here that spark a spark…figuratively, of course. more on that later.

Feng Shui Fame & Reputation -FireplaceFeed That Fire!

When you want the fire to burn, you need to give it some fuel. best complementary feng shui element to use for fame & reputation for keeping your fire burning is wood.

As always, you can go literal or figurative with this. therefore, this side of your home or office would ideally have a wooden table or desk, a tall woody plant, a painting or picture of a forest, and individual wooden frames.

Notice those objects were unique, by the way.

rear door in line with the front door

remember you want chi or energy to move throughout your home. as we discussed earlier in the career / business / life feng shui section, it is very important to draw energy to the front door and make sure there are no obstacles preventing it from moving along the bagua.

Also very important and now famous in feng shui is that you should not have your front door line up with a back door or window. for example, if you leave both doors open, a cross breeze will travel directly between the front and rear. the same happens with the chi without allowing it to have traveled through the other sections of the bagua.

Ideally, you shouldn’t have a door or window here.

If you already have a door or window in the back, don’t worry, there are cures.

First, I must implore you to use the front door more often than the back, even if it’s not convenient to do so.

now if you have a door, sliding glass door or window at the back of your space then you can hang a red curtain or decorate it with red stained glass. you can also hang a crystal with red string directly in front of the back door.

All of these feng shui cures should have the intended effect of diverting your energy to stay inside your home for now.

surprisingly non-hazardous items

In feng shui, there are many objects that are often dangerous in your home if left in any other gua. for example, we already talked about fireplaces being fine here.

Also, if you have weapons in your house (not the best thing to have in the house, but…), then this is the area where you want to store them.

And now the spark I referred to earlier. this is an ideal place for electronics, such as bright light bulbs and the television.

This would also be a great place for things like wood stoves.

remember, this is where you’re burning fire!

Feng Shui Fame & Reputation -ActingSymbolize Your Goals

fame & the reputation area in the feng shui bagua is the best place for a physical symbol of a future goal, particularly a career-oriented one.

I’ll use an example for my aspiring actor friends. Try taking a picture of a Hollywood Walk of Fame star with your name on it and place it in this area. every day, you should admire it and imagine yourself receiving that star.

get yourself an oscar statue that looks like you with your name and “best actor” engraved on it. imagine your fans screaming your name while the paparazzi follow your every move and take pictures of you as you leave that famous restaurant on hollywood blvd.

well, paparazzi are optional, but you get the idea.

accept these thoughts every day!

Feng Shui Fame & Reputation -SuccessYour Office

In office settings, make sure your desk is facing the door and your back is against a solid wall.

Think of it as your rock-solid fame and reputation to back it up. this back wall is where you want to display any diplomas, awards, and certificates you’ve earned.

If you don’t have these items or this isn’t a good place to display them, you can hang a picture or painting of a tall mountain to support your back so your reputation is as tall as that mountain.

Just make sure the mountain isn’t covered in snow, as that would be putting ice on your fire.

unique situations or dangerous elements

Do you have a unique situation in your home or office? maybe fame & Does it lack reputation guage or does it have some kind of inherently dangerous feature, such as a door, window, bathroom, ice machine, staircase, or garage?
